NavajoEverclear Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 well what is the chemical composition of oil?
Crash Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 ah, what oil are you referring to, crude? SAE30? 50W/80?
NavajoEverclear Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 eh, give me all of them. Wouldn't they all be similarly related? If not just give me a random list of a few. And spell out the words cause i'm not a chemist. Thanks for the help.
AzurePhoenix Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 My gods, are you serious? I was being a wise-ass, but okay, I'll get on it.
Skye Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Crude oil is mostly hydrocarbons, but it can have thousands of different hydrocarbons. Too many to list anyway, and they are usually compared in terms of the average size of hydrocarbon, and then on broad categories of hydrocarbons, such as alkanes or aromatics.
