ajb Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Apparently, if you count antiparticles and all the various colour states of quarks and gluons you get a grand total of 61 particles in the standard model. If you want a list, then just ask Wikipedia.

So protons and neutrons are not elementary as they are made of smaller particles But electrons were elementary, last time I checked.

Good idea, because if you don't just need elementary ones, there's also about ~140 mesons. So all-in-all, a lot of particles to choose from.
