fresh Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 what is this space for ? it looks like an elevator well ? or what else ? and the pic is taken from the top ?
Strange Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 It is an atrium of the UC Innovation Center in Santiago. I think it is taken from the bottom, looking up. It is the second image on this page: http://www.wired.com/2016/01/get-to-know-alejandro-aravena-this-years-pritzker-prize-winner/ 1
fresh Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) thank you Strange. quote : this glass atrium allows for everyone inside to see across other floors and into other offices, promoting a feeling of openness. this pic is taken from the bottom which the figure 5 is beyond 3(floor). it looks like photographer stands on the bottom which has the figures to take this pic ? what is behind the glass ? it doesn't look like other offices . how does this building look like ? The exterior is the first picture on the page I linked (wacky, isn't it!) I assume the glass walls of the atrium are the office walls (I have never been there).
