sooroor Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 In this current form of number addressing it is Impossible To Hit An End. So I was inspired to come up with the correct methodology to travel from 0 to infinity in a logical serial numbering: Zero : a centre in a circle One : a rayon in a circle Two: a diameter in a circle (|) Three : a trinity in a circle (Y) Four : a plus in a circle (+) Five : a star in the circle (*) ............ Finity: a disc : ● Now I challenge you to calculate the last or biggest number possible (finity). Hint: theists worship the number "1665" And say he is (bigger)!
ajb Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Zero : a centre in a circle One : a rayon in a circle Two: a diameter in a circle (|) Three : a trinity in a circle (Y) Four : a plus in a circle (+) Five : a star in the circle (*) ............ How is this more than just clumsy notation? Finity: a disc : ● By drawing more and more infinitely thin lines on the disk you will never actually 'colour in' the disk. You may have some limiting process here, I have not thought about it. Now I challenge you to calculate the last or biggest number possible (finity). What ever number one states, I can always add one to it.
Strange Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) Hint: theists worship the number "1665" I know it is off-topic, but I am fascinated. Do they? And why? OK. Forget that. You answered it in your other (nearly identical) thread. Apart from that, what ajb said. I think you need to study the concept of limits. Edited February 4, 2016 by Strange
