Ethnozoology and anthrozoology....

Both these disciplines seem almost identical yet completely separate. And a Google search didn't bring much illumination.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

While I'm not completely certain, the prefix "Ethno-" relates to a community or culture -- a dynamic or difference between multiple humans. The prefix "Anthro-" relates to human-like characteristics. So, in other words, one handles the differences and the other handles the similarities. Hope that helps.

Actually the differences is looking at interactions between cultural groups and (non-human) animals and the other is just general human-animal interactions.
