I said since the external resistance is increasing . The overalll current in circuit must decrease bcz R=V/I.

...the external resistance is increased and the current is decreased ... the voltage be same as the increase and decrease cancels out (maybe) ... part A cancelled .. PART B cant be right instinct...

Which leaves me with C and D

 

AND I.DNT UNDERSTAND BOTH OF THEM
