Daedalus Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 The lady who taught me how to read and write music is retiring this year. Without Mrs. Wood, I wouldn't be able to write the music that I do today. Great teachers are hard to find and, although we are in their lives for a brief period of time, their teachings remain with us forever. This is my 20th song, and it's dedicated to her. Enjoy!!! 3
Sirona Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Thank you for sharing your composition with us, Daedalus; I enjoyed it immensely and hope that you continue to share other pieces with us. It's wonderful that you had a teacher who was able to foster and develop your passion for music. I'm sure she would have been moved by the tribute. It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.- Albert Einstein
