awais Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 WHat is the total concentration of anions (i.e. SO4 and OH ions) in 1 M solution of MgSO4.7H2O?
John Cuthber Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Very close to 1 molar. Almost all of them are sulphate ions. To a good approximation the hydroxide ion concentration will be the same as it s in pure water, which is about 10^-7 Molar.
