Danijel Gorupec Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 I suppose if you want to make an 'air core' winding and you make it with iron wire instead of copper wire, you might see some difference (but then, I suppose, this should not be classified as an air core winding because iron is ferromagnetic - however this would be a bad design of a winding).
