Can latex be used to make an 'arc' symbol.

 

I want to refer to arc AB, and put a curved line above AB.

 

Can you do that with latex?

Yes, something like that. Is there something with a smoother curve?

Have you checked out the Latex tutorial thread for any info there?

 

I just looked at it, but didn't see a way to make a smooth arc.
