killafornia Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I just wonder, does anyone know of a handbook similar to Marri, Grenner (auth.) Human biochemistry. I admire its clear and concise style, but it seems to be a bit outdated, since it was out in 1993. To put it otherwise, I look for a comprehensive but not redundant general handbook on human biochemistry with a particular emphasise on lucid and clear style. Can anyone help?
OrionEMPIRE Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I find organic chemistry by Barr, like 1983 edition, is pretty close to what you describe. Yes it is a tiny bit outdated, but it does a great job of staying consistent and to the point. It is generally geared towards human biochemistry etc, with a little bit about plants/animals other then human. Also you can buy it for like 2$ amazon.
