Essentially I want to install a camera in public places, well hopefully one where no one picks up and break. Then I will send these images back into my computer and analyze it with OpenCV. I want to know what type of project I should do, population, stores, streets, cars. And how it can earn me cash. Thanks

Well, not like bad purposes. Check out some hot girls probably lol. It should be legal, I just need one that doesn't break

You don't see 'checking out hot girls' through a hidden camera without their consent as a bad purpose?

Non-consensual voyeurism is a crime in many countries; not to mention it's unethical and to be honest, quite sick. I'm sure there are legal reenactments online if that's what you're into, but violating other people's rights for your own pleasure is just wrong.

Well, asking girl(s) out is not a bad purpose

Right, committing a crime is bad. The constitution guarantee freedom of speech I agree

You think they're going to want to go out with you after they've found out you've been spying on them?

I'm sure this is not a dating forum lol, but I like to watch anime myself

Well alright guys, after looking up. It is legal to film in public, sorry about the confusion. I just thought it would be interesting to do. I'm sure government has it at certain point

I'm concerned that you're only deterred due to the legal restriction and not because you have a moral qualm about exploiting women. This is harassment; the law does not always correlate with morality. What upsets me profoundly by your posts is how little empathy you show towards women and their right to privacy. I'm glad we live in a society where we are (mostly) protected by the legal system, but online I see another world. It frightens me.

Moderator Note

It's not legal if you make money off it without consent of those photographed, even in your area.
