New threads?

The new content button is very convenient but why isn't there an option to just show new threads?

Does it not give you an option to select "Content I have not read" under the "By time period" selection?

I think the "Recent Items" box on the main forum age is the only thing like this.

There is the "view new content" on the up right corner in the blue banner.

 

Also if you tick on your name on the upper right black banner, you can go to "my content".
