imatfaal Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 And he carried on to finish the stage! Today's recovery is a mere 208km into a constant headwind
StringJunky Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I bet his mechanic was up all night re-truing wheels... with a hammer.
imatfaal Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 A mere... Lol I was quite chuffed that I completed the first 100km of my ride this morning faster than the first 100km of the leaders of the tour de france. Admittedly my ride was 101km... ...and not to mention that the professional did their second 100km 25% quicker and then sprinted at 60km/h plus
StringJunky Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 ...and not to mention that the professional did their second 100km 25% quicker and then sprinted at 60km/h plus But are they doing a Lance Armstrong?
imatfaal Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 But are they doing a Lance Armstrong? No. Because of the Lance era legacy professional cyclists are far and away the most tested athletes on earth.
StringJunky Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 No. Because of the Lance era legacy professional cyclists are far and away the most tested athletes on earth. I'm sure they are now; I was jesting really.
iNow Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) No. Because of the Lance era legacy professional cyclists are far and away the most tested athletes on earth. And also (at least relative to Lance Armstrong) the most testicled. (too soon??) Edited July 16, 2016 by iNow 1
imatfaal Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 And also (at least relative to Lance Armstrong) the most testicled. (too soon??) Difficult to be too soon when related to that bullying cheat
John Cuthber Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Is the guy in the OP following the instructions from his sat nav? 1
imatfaal Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 Is the guy in the OP following the instructions from his sat nav? "Now perform a legal somersault over the handlebars..." What is amazing is not only did he finish; he finished Sunday's stage - which was an absolute brute - in fifth place and might have had a chance of a win but for a puncture on the run in to the finish.
