Changing IRC Networks

I hate sorcerynet. Anyone have any suggestions on good (reliable) networks? I was thinking about EFNet, but that requires an eggdrop, which my host will not host. DALnet is pretty good, but not as reliable recently. Any suggestions?

Apologies, but i know nothing at all of IRC chat. when SF first introduced the irc chat page i had no problems going on to it but now i get stuck on a blank page and dont connect. do i need a irc client file in C:/windows/downloaded program files ?

You shouldn't, if you're trying to use the java chat. (http://www.scienceforums.net/chat.php)

 

But if you click on the second link it will attempt to open the local IRC client on your machine (if you have one)

Yes the current network you are on sucks ass, its slow

irc.webmaster.com is ok i use it all the time, altho it does have a tendancy to unidentify your username, rarly tho, just sucks if you idle alot. but smarter people have scripts (not me)
