blike Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 I hate sorcerynet. Anyone have any suggestions on good (reliable) networks? I was thinking about EFNet, but that requires an eggdrop, which my host will not host. DALnet is pretty good, but not as reliable recently. Any suggestions?
Sayonara Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 I seem to recall LuTze saying he'd host it on Isis server.
greg1917 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Apologies, but i know nothing at all of IRC chat. when SF first introduced the irc chat page i had no problems going on to it but now i get stuck on a blank page and dont connect. do i need a irc client file in C:/windows/downloaded program files ?
blike Posted May 13, 2003 Author Posted May 13, 2003 You shouldn't, if you're trying to use the java chat. (http://www.scienceforums.net/chat.php) But if you click on the second link it will attempt to open the local IRC client on your machine (if you have one)
cHIs- Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Yes the current network you are on sucks ass, its slow irc.webmaster.com is ok i use it all the time, altho it does have a tendancy to unidentify your username, rarly tho, just sucks if you idle alot. but smarter people have scripts (not me)
