studiot Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Yes a selectional bias can create a false correlation, because the sample population may be drawn from only from those with the tested characteristic, by the selection process. Since this is homework help it is good to do more than just ask us to check you answer to boost marks. (you didn't do that did you?)
