scientistsahai Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 FIND THE MISTAKE IN THE FOLLOWING.... 1 RS. = 1 RS. 1 RS. = 100 PAISE.. 1 RS. = (10x10) PAISE.. 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) RS. 1 RS. = (0.01) RS. 1 RS. = 1 PAISE.
klanger Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 FIND THE MISTAKE IN THE FOLLOWING.... 1 RS. = 1 RS. 1 RS. = 100 PAISE.. 1 RS. = (10x10) PAISE.. 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) RS. 1 RS. = (0.01) RS. 1 RS. = 1 PAISE. Not very good at this stuff, but I think it went wrong at the 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) RS I think that is the same as the one emmediately above so it should read 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) PAIS
jcarlson Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 FIND THE MISTAKE IN THE FOLLOWING.... 1 RS. = 1 RS. 1 RS. = 100 PAISE.. 1 RS. = (10x10) PAISE.. 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) RS. 1 RS. = (0.01) RS. 1 RS. = 1 PAISE. The mistake is the line 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) RS from the previous line, you divided the right side by 1000, since .01 is 1/1000th of 100, instead of dividing by 100 like you should have to convert Paise to RS.
scientistsahai Posted May 3, 2005 Author Posted May 3, 2005 The mistake is the line 1 RS. = (0.1x0.1) RS from the previous line' date=' you divided the right side by 1000, since .01 is 1/1000th of 100, instead of dividing by 100 like you should have to convert Paise to RS.[/quote'] Dear The division is nowhere done. It is the prod of 0.1 and 0.1 that gives 0.01. Please think logically.
reverse Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 two things. 1) The Hindu ladies that I have met do not look like the lady in your picture. 2) Did you know that western numbers are stylised Hindu numbers? cool huh.
