DrmDoc Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 The journal Science reports scientist have found the oldest known fossil of life in the rocks of Greenland. At 3.7 billion years these stromatolite fossils predate the previously known Australian stromatolite fossils by 300 million years. Other than zircon crystals at 4.1 billion years, according to the article, these fossils are the earliest evidence of complex planetary life. Enjoy!
