blue89 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Hi , The Journals which were mentioned in the past occasions are implied I am adding a sample of my hand drawing(s) ,but this is not professional ,this is a version of low quality and simple. Regards blue
Klaynos Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 It's not really the done thing these days. I'd recommended something like inkscape for diagrams.
Sensei Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) May we use our hand writing/drawing as a figure in our paper? I would not use them even in reply on this forum... It's even more hassle: you have to paint, take photo, transfer data from digital camera/smartphone, or scan (if you have scanner).. When in application it's easier. You can make error, and fix it, while on paper, you would have to start from scratch. The Journals which were mentioned in the past occasions are implied I am adding a sample of my hand drawing(s) ,but this is not professional ,this is a version of low quality and simple. Indeed. Use 3D application for such drawings. There is free Blender, there is NewTek's LightWave for $700 (student version is probably cheaper), Maxon's Cinema 4D, Autodesk's Maya, SideFX's Houdini, But these are more expensive. Klaynos Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 There's a few floss 3d cad applications now with simpler GUI then blender which would probably work quite well.
michel123456 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) Also you must care about ease of understanding and avoid crossing labels. See below As your label (the equation) increase, the position must follow and avoid crossing lines. Here the progression is from left to right (that is sensible), so must be the labeling. ajb Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 It's not really the done thing these days. I agree - you can find some older papers with simple hand drawn diagrams (for example Feynman diagrams) and even old papers where the equations are written by hand! But today with LaTex and simple drawing applications there is little excuse for hand-drawn diagrams.
blue89 Posted September 4, 2016 Author Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) mmm. ok. thanks very much for your ideas. Really ,I think it is pleasure ,especially when I feel free / relief this is quite pleasure. so ,I hope to make drawings as exciting ones. but of course , there will be sensitivity of measurement. (Sensei is right! ) but again ,really it is pleasure. mm ,I had asked it politely to nature's help desk after opening this thread and sent them this photo . do you think it is incorrect asking such things? could someone share a document which tells how to learn LaTeX ? To first know what to remake in 3D application. could someone share a document which tells how to learn LaTeX ?
