Daecon Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) 0*1*1=0 1*2*2=4 2*3*3=18 3*4*4=48 4*5*5=100 5*6*6=180 Edited October 6, 2016 by Daecon 2
Sriman Dutta Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 Right Daecon. The missing numbers is 180 indeed. Although my logic was different. 1^3-1^2=0 2^3-2^2=4 3^3-3^2=18 4^3-4^2=48 5^3-5^2=100 6^3-6^2=180 It's interesting that a single problem can have multiple solutions......
AshBox Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) If n = 11 x (1+1)²1 x 2²=4 << First number of the sequnceIf n = 22 x (2+1)²2 x 3²=18 << Second number of the sequence and so on.. The Next Number is 180. Edited December 19, 2016 by AshBox
