Hey peoples... i have a quick question...

if i want to find the moment of inertia from a the gradient of a graph... and i have taken a whole lot of measuremants that vary time and mass... what would i do with these three equations: (i have been fiddling around with them for hours and getting nowhere, i was looking for a directly proportional realtionship but yeah....probably not the way to go i guess :( )

T is tension and so i suppose varies with mass

h and S and r are all constant , oh and g is constant too of course :P

equations:

any help, i'd love it! :)

You varied the time and mass of what, exactly?

Moment of inertia of what shaped object?

And this graph, it was what vs what exactly? What were the units of the x axis, and what were the units of the y axis.

There is a formula for the tension of a string, and it has a mass density dependence, but I dont remember the formula for it offhand.
